Due to COVID-19 our return policy has changed temporarily. Please read the following carefully for changes we've made.

Any online returns will be delayed in processing. Please allow extra time for these to be processed. 

Any purchase made using the 20% off code "SHOPSMALL" is considered FINAL SALE and is not returnable.

BANFF TICKET INFORMATION:

Thank you for your understanding of the cancellation of the festival. We are working closely with Banff for a possible reschedule for this fall. Any tickets purchased originally will be honored at the new date should we reschedule. Please hang onto tickets until those announcements have been made. Email customerservice@halfmoonoutfitters.com for more information regarding rescheduling or refunds.

IN STORE RETURNS:

We are not accepting any returns or exchanges of any type at this time. Being mindful of safety precautions for our employees we do not want to bring outside product into our physical space at this time.Once we are back to normal business operations returns will be honored based on purchase status as of 3/18/20.

Return Policy below will be back in place once we return to normal operations.
We think that all our gear is the best out there, but if for some reason it isn't EXACTLY what you wanted, never fear, our returns policy is one of the best in the business.

Just return the item to us with...

  • the original receipt
  • within 90 days
  • with tags
  • in new, unused and unworn condition


and you will receive a full refund. Sale items should be returned in 30 days in the same condition as above, for a full refund. Easy, right?

All returns made within the 90/30 day window will be issued a refund with the original method of payment. Any cash purchases over $50 will be refunded with a company check.

Returns received with original receipt and tags in new, unused and unworn condition after 90/30 days, but within a year of purchase will receive a store credit for the full amount of purchase. Even better, that store credit is good forever! (And ever and ever!)

We do have a few things that can’t be returned (unless defective of course): Final Sale Items, Underthings, climbing gear, Yakima products, sunglasses without tags, and shoes that have been worn or are without original packaging/box. In order for us to accept returns or exchanges on swimwear and bathing suits, they must be in unused, new condition with tags and with hygiene strips still attached.

Items returned without both the original receipt AND in new, unused and unworn condition with tags will receive store credit for the current selling price.

 

FINAL SALE

Final Sale Items (anything that is red lined on the tag) cannot be returned or exchanged.

Any Half-Moon Outfitters purchase can be returned, with an original receipt, either online or in one of our store locations.

Returning an item to a physical store:

  • the original receipt
  • within 90/30 days
  • with tags
  • in new, unused and unworn condition
  • If you choose to return an online purchase at one of our physical stores, along with the receipt and tags please be sure to bring with you the original card used to make the purchase so that we are able to refund your card.

We are now offering free returns! If you didn't get a return shipping label in your package just email us at Customer Service or call 877-846-7589 Mon.-Fri. 8am-4pm ET and we can send a prepaid return label to you (excluding APO/FPO, Alaska, and Hawaii orders).

If you prefer to ship your order back without our return label, we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged returns. When shipping without our return label, ship your returns using insurance and signature confirmation to:

If you ship return merchandise on your own without using our return shipping label, we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged returns. Without our return label, you must use a shipping method that is both insured and can be tracked with signature confirmation. We cannot help you track or verify receipt of your returned items unless you use our return label or you can provide tracking information of your return shipment.


EXCHANGES

 


Exchanges can be made at any of our store locations, if accompanied by the original tags and receipt and the item is in new, unused/unworn condition. Exchanges online are handled by purchasing the new item online and then returning the original item through the normal return process.
