Free shipping is only available to the continental 48 states. Exceptions include
oversized items such as Kayaks, Surfboards, Paddleboards, Skateboards, etc.
and are available at higher shipping rates. Deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii
are available at higher shipping rates and with longer delivery times. Please
provide an accurate address for prompt delivery of your order to APO/FPO addresses.

At this time we do not ship internationally. We do ship to Alaska, Hawaii,
and APO/FPO addresses with longer processing and delivery times through the
US Postal Service.
Shipping Method Examples* For example, your online order is received
Thursday before 12 noon ET and you select:
- Overnight Shipping - if the product is in stock, expect delivery by Friday
(1 business day).
- 2-Day Shipping - if the product is in stock, expect delivery by the next
Monday (2 business days).
- Priority Shipping - if the product is in stock, expect delivery by the
next Tuesday (3 business days).
- Standard Shipping - if the product is in stock, we will process your order
and expect delivery within 5-10 business days.
- Economy Shipping - if the product is in stock, we will process your order
and expect delivery within 15-20 business days.
Order Processing
If you ship your order via expedited shipping, we will attempt to expedite
your order processing*. After we process and package your order, we will ship
your package. Once your order has shipped, we will bill your credit card and
we will send the tracking information within a shipping notification email. Please
make sure to enter your email address correctly when ordering to insure that
you are able to receive order and shipping emails. We respect your privacy
and honor your communication preferences - so don't worry about us selling
your email or spamming you.
*Note: Some items have a longer processing time. Please note some products,
for example some Horny Toad, Mountain Khakis, and Patagonia products may ship
directly from the manufacturer and have a slightly longer processing time (including
on expedited shipping orders). Once those items have shipped from the manufacturer,
we will send you an shipping confirmation email with a tracking number for
those items. These products may be shipped separately from other items in your
order.

When you place your order, your card is only authorized during order processing.
We will charge your credit card only when we ship your order.
Gift Cards
Available from $20 to $500, gift certificates are perfect for the hard-to-please.
They can be shipped directly to the recipient and are redeemable online,
at any of the stores, or by phone. Simply call us at 877-846-7589 and order
by phone Mon.-Fri. 9am-5pm ET.
Promotional Items
As a way to say thanks for ordering online, we offer promotional items from
time to time. These items are only available for a limited time and cannot
be returned for cash, store credit or exchanged. If your order is returned
for any reason, the promotional item that was included with the shipment
must also be returned for the purchased item to be eligible for refund or
store credit.

Returns and Exchanges
Return Policies
We think that all our gear is the best out there, but if for some reason it
isn't EXACTLY what you wanted, never fear, our returns policy is one of the
best in the business.
Just return the item to us with...
- the original receipt
- within 90 days
- with tags
- in new, unused and unworn condition
and you will receive a full refund.
Sale items should be returned in
30 days in the same condition as above, for a full refund. Easy, right?
All returns made within the 90/30 day window will be issued a refund with the
original method of payment. Any cash purchases over $50 will be refunded with
a company check.
Returns received with original receipt and tags in new, unused and unworn condition
after 90/30 days but within a year of purchase will receive a store credit for
the full amount of purchase. Even better, that store credit is good forever!
(And ever and ever!)
We do have a few things that can’t be returned (unless defective of course):
Underthings, climbing gear, Yakima products, sunglasses without tags and shoes
that have been worn or are without original packaging/box. In order for us to
accept returns or exchanges on swimwear and bathing suits, they must be in unused,
new condition with tags and hygiene strip still attached.
Items returned without both the original receipt AND in new, unused and unworn
condition with tags will receive store credit for the current selling price.
You will be over the moon about our how simple it is to return or exchange
your purchase!
Any Half-Moon Outfitters purchase can be returned, with an original receipt,
either online or in one of our store locations.
Returning an item to a physical store:

- If you choose to return an online purchase at one of our physical stores,
along with the receipt and tags please be sure to bring with you the original
card used to make the purchase so that we are able to refund your card.

If you do return merchandise without our shipping label, we advise that you use
a shipping method that is either insured or can be tracked. Half-Moon is not
responsible for any return that is not received and cannot track any package
that has not been signed for.
Exchanges
Exchanges can be made at any of our store locations, if accompanied by the original
tags and receipt and the item is in new, unused/unworn condition. If you would
prefer to complete your exchange on our internet site, you will need to purchase
the new item from the website. You can then send the original item back using
the shipping instructions above and we will issue a refund with the original
method of payment for that item once we have received it.

Price Adjustments
Previously purchased items on sale
If your new gear goes on sale or is further marked down within 5 days of your
original purchase, we will honor the price adjustment between the two and reimburse
you with your original method of payment.
Manufacturer's Warranty Claims
We take the worry out of claims and exchanges, you can simply send your items
back to us. Some vendors require that you handle all warranty exchanges directly

Troubleshooting Orders
What Is An Offline Order?
In the event that we cannot verify that the billing address, phone number,
and email that you've provided match the information the bank has associated
with the form of payment that you're using, your order will be sent offline.
An offline order is a result of our Credit Card Security system red-flagging
your order due to some sort of discrepancy.
Did I Get Charged?
A common misconception when dealing with an offline order is that the customer
is being charged, but not receiving product. If for some reason you have
received an email indicating that your order cannot be processed due to invalid
Credit Card information, but yet your bank account is showing a charge please
do not worry. There actually is no charge to your account, but rather a hold
on the funds you were trying to use to purchase the product. The hold will
be lifted once the validity of the Credit Card is established, or the order
is cancelled.
What Do I Do Next?
If you receive an email explaining that your order has been sent offline, please
do not despair. More times than not it is simply user error when entering
your check-out information. You can either try to place a secondary order
through our website, or you can just give us a call so we can make sure everything
is being entered correctly. Please be advised that for every order that you
place, there will be a hold for the price of that item put towards your account.
